Thank You For The Support!

Choral Arts Ensemble appreciates all our supporters and sends a special thank you to all who joined us for our recent holiday celebration, Yuletide: from the Pacific Northwest. What a joy to share beautiful music with so many of you! We had some of the highest attendance of any concert in many years; Portland’s best kept musical secret is getting out!

This moment comes from the beautiful Requiem by Gabrielle Fauré. We performed this at St. Philip Neri in April of 2023. It features violinist Adam LaMotte, organist Hannah Brewer, and harpist Kate Petak. This is the Sancuts movement, which culminates in the triumphant “Hosanna in excelsis!”, a fitting sentiment this time of year and one we hope brings you some holiday joy.

Our faithful audience and patrons support us both with your presence at our concerts and with your donations. In our weekly rehearsals and in every concert, we commit to “taking ownership” of our music–each piece, phrase, and note.
