What People Are Saying

CAE is a passionate community of musicians that is deeply engaged in sharing the beauty and power of choral music. It was an absolute pleasure to guest conduct them in a concert of my music and hope to work with them again soon. Portland is so fortunate to have this cultural gem in its midst!

Jake Runestad, Composer & Conductor

“I had the great pleasure of working with the Choral Arts Ensemble of Portland. The ensemble was very well prepared, and that made the rehearsal process easy and effective, while the group was very responsive to all changes and alternatives I suggested. I look forward to collaborating with them again in the near future.”

Ola Gjeilo, Composer

“Collaborating with Choral Arts Ensemble is always a pleasure. A high level of professionalism permeates their work, coupled with a connection to audiences that is spontaneous and enjoyable. A Choral Arts Ensemble event is not to be missed.”
