Immediately following our Saturday, December 13 concert, you’re invited to enjoy our annual holiday social and fundraising event with holiday beverages, appetizers, sweets, and a silent auction.

Student – $5 in advance and at the door
Pay what you can – This ticket option is designed to make CAE concerts accessible to those who find our standard ticket pricing might prevent them from attending our concerts.
The Choral Arts Ensemble and members of Orchestra Nova Northwest present transcendent works by two of the most frequently performed choral composers working today – Elaine Hagenberg’s Illuminare and Ola Gjeilo’s Dreamweaver. Join us for an evening of soaring, cinematic music and stories of hope, light and peace.

While the earliest composition in our holiday concert dates from less than 40 years ago, nearly all of them present texts that go back centuries, all the way to medieval ballads, the early Church Fathers, and the Bible itself. The ancient texts have inspired composers to find unexpected rhythms and harmonies, even as the music reveals new aspects of these older words. Together, they offer us new treasures for the holiday season.
